THE DECISION-MAKING SIMULATOR OF THE LOGISTICS SYSTEM

In the dynamically developing world, logistics has gained a leading importance, especially in enterprises dealing with the production of goods or services. Efficient coordination and making decisions about the way of working can result in a large profit or loss if it is carried out in an inappropriate way. Therefore, with the current technological level, it is best to simulate these processes as a support in making decisions. The discussed problem is based mainly on the IT system used to support the decision-making process in the logistics system. The need to create this type of simulator emerges from the current state of enterprises and logistics standards. The simulator is equipped with the module structure and enables its user to carry out simulations with the use of input data stored in the file, generated at random or prepared manually. Results are subject to thorough analysis. The satisfactory solution is searched for within the available result data.
